Show 301 - Winery Profile: Vina Tondonia, Spain - This episode's profiled winery is well known in the Rioja region of northern Spain. It is a family-run business still operating under the original founder's very traditional vision of winemaking. His great granddaughter, the current managing director of the company, is committed to following in his footsteps.

Show 302 - Winery Profile: Chateau Smith Haute, Bordeaux - When former French ski champions Daniel and Florence Cathiard decided to get into the wine business, they went big. They purchased a significant chateau in Bordeaux with a history dating back to the Crusades. Having no experience in the wine industry meant that they were at first met with a certain degree of suspicion. However, after more than ten years, they are receiving glowing praise from the world's most respected wine critics.

Show 303 - Winery Profile: Lazaridi, Greece - Greek winemakers are generally quick to note that the wines of Greece are receiving a heightened profile in the international wine community. They feel that becoming better versed in both traditional techniques and cutting-edge, modern technology makes for a winning combination in the overall quality of wine production. Today's profiled winery is considered to be one of the best examples of a new breed of Greek wine producer.

Show 304 - Winery Profile: Pelee Island, Ontario - Around 1860, the first winery in Canada was founded in the tranquil setting of Pelee Island. The wines it produced received the endorsement of the Prince of Wales and were awarded with a bronze medal at a wine competition in Paris. However, early in the 20th century, winemaking in the region became unprofitable and was virtually abandoned. After half a century of dormancy, Pelee Island is enjoying a return to its winemaking roots; once again, receiving critical acclaim.

Show 305 - Winery Profile: Moorebank, Australia - Hunter Valley is one of Australia's most visited wine regions. In the more than 80 wineries in the vicinity, one will find nearly every major grape variety in production, as well as businesses operating at the largest corporate level alongside small family-run businesses. Today's profiled winery, with only 5 hectares of vines, is considered one of the smallest. Focusing on sound ecological practices and high quality, this winery reflects the character and values of its proprietors.

Show 306 - Winery Profile: Fabre Montmayou, Argentina - When Bordeaux wine agent, Fabre Joyaux, decided to invest in South America, he originally thought of Chile. But not having found exactly what he was looking for, he crossed the Andes mountains and arrived in Mendoza in Argentina. He immediately fell upon some incredible wines that impressed him so much that he bought a very old vineyard in Mendoza. He now believes that Mendoza is one of the most interesting red wine producing areas in the world.

Show 307 - Winery Profile: Tsantali, Greece - Tsantali is one of the largest and oldest of all the wineries and distilleries in Greece. The company produces a wide range of products, including a very popular local distillate called Tsipouro. Company founder, Evangelos Tsantali, inherited a secret and old family recipe to create the aromatic beverage. Like wine, it is a grape product. However, different production processes create some very interesting and different results.

Show 308 - Winery Profile: Champagne Krug, France - In a number of episodes of WINE TELEVISION, winemakers in the Champagne region of France have explained the importance and tradition of blending. Champagne Krug is certainly well versed in the art of blending, having been an important company in the region since 1843. However, it also produces an anomaly in Champagne; that being a single-variety, single-vintage wine.

Show 309 - Winery Profile: Meerlust Estate, South Africa - What happens when an Italian winemaker who dreams of making high level French style wines falls in love with the Cape winemaking region of South Africa? The answer is…one of the most respected and exclusive wineries in the new world.
Other stories include: the World Congress on Cork and Oak in Portugal, the Michelin Chefs of small town England, and the Napa Valley Wine Train in California. Also, featured expert Greg Ziesmann explains the process of designing and constructing a custom wine cellar.

Show 310 - Winery Profile: Stoney Ridge, Niagara - The history of Stoney Ridge is quite unique. It was actually started by an amateur wine maker who developed enough of a following at an amateur level that he decided to make wine commercially. The winery is now 15 years old and produces between 50 and 55,000 cases of wine annually.
Other stories include: a traditional grape harvest in Portugal, the production of Prosciutto in Italy, and San Francisco's newest boutique hotel. Also, featured expert Florence Cathiard explains the definition of a "Grand Cru" wine.

Show 311 - Winery Profile: Bodega Lurton, Argentina - Argentina knows something about foreign investment, especially in the wine industry. The climate, soil, and economics of setting up shop in Argentina have enticed investors from every winemaking community in the world. Bordeaux owner-grower Andre Lurton has expanded his company into many new wine-producing markets. WINE TELEVISION stops in for a look at Lurton's Argentine endeavour.

Show 312 - Winery Profile: Atlas Peak, Napa Valley - Most of the renowned wineries in the Napa Valley are situated on the valley floor. However, when famous Italian winemaker Piero Antinori started to look for a vineyard property in California, he looked to the hills - for a location similar to the rolling Tuscan hills of his homeland. After 15 years in operation, it looks as though Atlas Peak Vineyards is yet the latest in his on-going success story.

Show 313 - Winery Profile: Steenberg Vineyards, South Africa - Steenberg Estate is the oldest wine farm in the Cape Peninsula. Vines were first planted in the Steenberg vineyards in 1682 and the first wines were produced in 1685. It is located in the Constantia Valley, at the southern tip of South Africa, a region recognized as one of the superior wine growing areas of the country.
